Our Mission
The Trials Stars want to conquer the ultimate terrain and they want to bring you along for the ride.

Trials Stars Bike Shows was created to promote the sport of bike trials through demonstrations, videos and other media forms.
The Story
Jeff Anderson and Steve Dickin have traveled the world competing in international competition and performing shows.
Residents of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, they have grown up in a large mountain bike oriented scene.
They started cross country racing in a school run organizations called SPOKE.
After seeing trials professional Ryan Leech perform a demo, Steve and Jeff were hooked on trials.
Luckily at the time Vancouver had a large bike trials competition scene which help them progress to a high level of riding.
Steve and Jeff were invited to join The Trialsin Shop Demo Team in 2004 and have been performing shows ever since.
In 2007 they created Trials Stars Bike Shows. Currently they are focused on winning international competitions
and promoting the sport of bike trials.

Bike Trials
The action of bike trials is to ride with complete control over the bike. This means that the
rider's goal is to have the ability to use the bicycle to travel any path from point A to point B.
The choice of path determines the difficulty.
The rider uses balance, power and endurance along with various techniques to traverse the chosen path.
The sport of bike trials consists of six, eight or ten paths called "sections" mapped out by the competition organizer.
The riders must ride through the designed section (or path) without putting one or both feet down from the bicycle pedals.
Thus you must stay on the bike while riding from point A to B.
Penalty points will be obtained if these rules are broken.
The rider does not get to practice riding the sections before the competition and only has two chances to ride each course.
The penalty points are added up over all the paths ridden and the rider with the lowest score wins.

Steve Dickin

Steve has been one of the top North American trials riders for the past few years and is
still continuing to enhance his skill set. With incredible balance and technical skills, Steve is planning to
improve upon his already impressive 2009 results. Steve's relaxed and laid back attitude during competitions
and training can be seen by his constant string of sarcastic jokes.
Aside from trials riding, Steve graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors in Science and is
currently employed doing hydrogeology work.

Jeff Anderson

Jeff has been the number 2 ranked Canadian Rider for a past few years and is recognized
as an up and coming threat to the top competitive riders in the world.
Jeff's known to have ridiculous amounts of raw power and can perform power moves
on the same scale as the world's elite trials riders. Jeff continues to push
himself through a gruelling physical training regime as he strives to increase
his overall ranking in the world scene.
Despite Jeff's inherent motivational drive, the best word to describe him would
be…passive. Jeff is a quiet, calm and sedate. I don't think anyone has seen
him lose his temper, which begs the question: does Jeff even have a temper to
lose? These characteristics make Jeff and easily approachable guy, that everyone (except his competitors)
is happy to see.
Aside from trials riding, Jeff is attending Simon Fraser University taking engineering physics.
He plans to finish his degree in the up coming year.
